Development of 2D and / or 3D Plans
In this part of the project, the characteristics and the finishing of the pieces to be printed will be defined, for which the MakerBot software was used. The 3D pieces are selected according to the tastes of the children.
Design
The design that was taken to make the pieces was the characters of an animated series very seen in recent times, which is POKEMON. The pieces that were chosen were those that the majority of children admire or have sympathy for them, in this way we ensure the acceptance of the product.
Sizing of the pieces
Thanks to Sindoh software we were able to give measurements to the piece that we wanted to print, because the software has a tool called scale. When changing a measure on the X axis, we notice that all others change according to that measure. Initially it was in 1 which means 100%, however, in our project we only need 60% of the measure, therefore that option will be changed to 0.6. This is explained in more detail in the following video:
